Travis Barker will finally Give The Drummer Some on March 15th. Though there have been some delays the first single will be the title track and feature Game, Swizz Beatz, Lil Wayne, and Rick Ross. Other guests include the Clipse, Ludacris and Kid Cudi. I’m sure the Drummer will have more in store.

Malice discusses how everybody is thirsting for him and his brother Pusha T (the Clipse) to be split into two. But “don’t they know brotherly love is sacred?”

“I done partied with the stars/mingled with the kings/ all that you saw wasn’t everything that it seemed/ in my one hand everything I could of dreamed/ at the crossroads they were battling for Gene/Money and the fame boosted my self esteem/While the lord telling me ‘you already is a king!’/Pillagin’ through women ‘you already got a Queen!’/Pusha taking off its hard to tell em what I seen/I dare not intervene, lil bro is a problem /just remember we Batman we ain’t nobody’s Robin/All I do is applaud him all I have for him is love/I’ll be the mascot if Push ever came to shove/I heard that they in there saying I wonder why he went before the judge/cuz everyday I prayed you was covered in the blood/so all I ask bro is that you acknowledge his name/we in the same group I got to share your pain” – Malice

Dr. Dre Announces Detox Release Date

18 Jan

Dr. Dre fans get ready, after a decade of waiting for Detox, the hip-hop icon has announced his album’s release date. Producer Just Blaze posted a video of himself in the studio with the Doc. While Blaze spoke about his artist Saigon’s project, Dre revealed the date many doubted would ever come. He announced it would be April 20th which happens to be the pot smokers’ holiday.

Also take notice that April 20th is a Wednesday, which is a day later than the traditional Tuesday release in the U.S. When asked why Dre opted to miss a day of the sales week, Just Blaze responded on Twitter, saying, “We talked about that. (I’m) sure the publicity and hype of the date release would make up for the lost day.”
